This project consists of a technically flawed picture (a fogged film roll) that is seen as one hears an informal, voice-over recitation of shortstory Alice Munro’s Tricks, a tale of misunderstanding and its ill-fated consequences. My interest lies in observing how the fictional narrative and the indicative quality of photography, when together, act synergistically, mutually potentiating their effects to the viewer/listener.

I play with different kind of errors: the technical flaw, the misunderstandings of history and whatever is false in the field of interpretation.

Este proyecto consiste en una imagen técnicamente defectuosa (un velado de negativo) y en una narración coloquial, en voz alta, del cuento Desencuentro de Alice Munro, una historia de maltentendidos y sus consecuencias. Mi interés radica en observar cómo se potencian la narrativa de ficción y lo indicial de la fotografía, que actúan sinérgicamente, potenciándo mutuamente sus efectos para el espectador u oyente, que está habituado a relacionar imagen – sonido. 

Juego con errores de diversa índole: el error técnico, el equívoco de la historia y lo falso en el campo de la interpretación.
